Comrades Relief Fund
The Comrades Relief Fund (CRF) aims to assist financially challenged athletes by offering them a reduced entry fee of up to 50%.
To qualify for the CRF, entrants must meet the following criteria:
- - Entrant must be unemployed or earn less than R30 000 per year.
- - Entrant must be a South African citizen and in possession of an SA ID Number.
- - 50% of entrance fee must be paid upon entry.
Once you have completed your Comrades entry, you will receive the CRF application form via email. It will also be available for download from your Online Entry Dashboard. Your completed application and all supporting documents must be submitted by 11 December 2023.
Please note: If you do not submit all required documentation by 11 December 2023 or your application is unsuccessful, you will be required to pay the remaining 50% of your entry fee by 29 February 2024. Alternatively, you may apply for a refund of the 50% of your entry fee paid upon entry.
